There was this very adventuresome and gullible fish who wanted to know what it was like above the surface of the water he viewed as a boundary which needed to be passed in order to fully experience the world. As it so happened a pelican was passing near by and offered him a chance to see the world.
The fish was excited, and like many of us, did not think of all of the ramifications of the offer and with a flick of his tail swam into the waiting beak which then obligingly lifted him into the other world.
What a vision awaited him, but before he could even ask the first of a thousand questions - the pelican cautioned him about getting too much sun. I have a nice shady place for you, he said and the gullible fish said "Wow, thank you," but immediately thought, what if there is a catch to this?
